What Is Kitchen Sink Installation & Replacement?
Sink installation and replacement covers removing an existing sink and installing a new one, matching or adjusting the countertop cutout and plumbing as needed. In McFaddin, TX kitchens, sinks see constant use and are prone to chips, stains, and worn finishes, especially older stainless steel or enameled cast iron units. Replacement can also mean changing style entirely — moving from a drop-in to an undermount sink, for example — which requires reworking the cutout and a countertop material that supports it.
Why You Need It
A sink with chips, stains, or a compromised seal is more than cosmetic — gaps at the seam let water seep underneath, damaging cabinet bases and the countertop substrate over time. Old strainers and drain assemblies are also common sources of slow leaks that go unnoticed until they've caused damage. An outdated sink can also make a nice countertop look mismatched, and upgrading it is one of the more affordable ways to refresh a kitchen's look.
Our Process
Assessment and Sink Selection
We evaluate your countertop cutout and plumbing, then help you choose a sink that fits or can be adapted.
Disconnection and Removal
The old sink is disconnected and removed, and we check the countertop and cabinet base for water damage.
Cutout Adjustment if Needed
If switching sink styles or sizes, the cutout is adjusted to fit properly, especially for undermount installs.
Installation and Plumbing Reconnection
The new sink is set, sealed, and plumbing is reconnected and tested for leaks before the job is complete.
What to Expect
